It's unfortunate that Daniel Green has chosen to alter a style that worked well. I've just purchased this slipper for the fourth time, as the heel height and vamp were perfect. They have changed both. These are new design items: The vamp is higher on the foot, the toe is rounder, the heel is higher, the inner liner is changed, the gold trim is wider. I have always subscribed to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought. I preferred the original design. -- They'e changed the design!
